Sensitive Princess by Coldheartedartist

This illustration captures an East African princess surrounded by beauty and everything she dreams of, yet she is still unsettled by a feeling she cant quite place. Inspired by The princess and the Pea. A tale I've loved since childhood, this piece has taken on a deeper meaning in my heart as I've grown older. I've come to realize that sensitivity is strength, even though I was often taught to see it as a weakness.  A reminder of what it feels like to experience the world deeply, my take.
